I'd been wanting to do this for quite a while. It's just my style of quick(but delish)dessert. I thought that this recipe would be great with other suitable fruit as I didn't have any pineapple. I had peaches. Great!! Finally I made it a second time with a bit of cannelle sprinkled over itand flambeed with rum. Even better!!But the sauce turned out like a delicious diluted condensed milk. Nestles should pay me for this idea. I was a bit disappointed, only with the look, of it. Mind you I was punished, because whilst it was cooking, I tasted it and burnt my tongue.

I wish I'd read the comments. I too just made soup so my pineapples cooked but didn't sear at all. Other than that it was great! Tastes like a pineapple dolce de leche. Mmmmm....

I'm relatively new to this site. Am I somehow missing where to get the written recipe for this?
