my son--in-law made this yesterday (Sunday).it was just delish! I can hardly wait to give this receipe to my other daughter, and some friends plus my sister. Thank you for sending the receipe online, so my son-in-law could make this for his family and me.

Hi, I have Loretta Lynns cookbook and she makes brown sugar meatloaf. The recipe is a little different she just mixed the ketchup and brown sugar together and spread on top twenty minutes before the meatloaf is done baking. So yummie I used to used Campbells tomato soup and that is a little tangy.

my family likes a sauce made with condensed tomato soup and brown sugar. also I use Pepperidge Farm Stuffing Mix instead of saltines and omit the milk as it makes the meatloaf too soft.

I make meatloaf with onion soup mix, extra onions eggs etc. Then I make a glaze with ketchup and brown sugar and spread on top the last 20 minutes. I make extra sauce for my granddaughter.

I made this. Too sweet and too soft! I've been trying to find the right meatloaf recipe for my family but this wasn't it!

Instead of doing it this way I made a sauce of tomato sauce , Worcester, salt pepper, and brown sugar. I followed the directions but added some of the sauce to the meat mixture . I cooked the loaf then towards the end poured some of the sauce on top of the meatloaf and cooked a little longer. It was amazing!!!
