Instead of doing it this way I made a sauce of tomato sauce , Worcester, salt pepper, and brown sugar. I followed the directions but added some of the sauce to the meat mixture . I cooked the loaf then towards the end poured some of the sauce on top of the meatloaf and cooked a little longer. It was amazing!!!

Wow really? To get the metloaf out of the pan, put a serving tray or plate on top an flip the whole thing over onto the plate. Let the meatloaf fall out of the an via gravity, you don't need to pry or shake it out. Be sure to use pot holders so you don't burn yourselves.

It would be nice to see how to remove the meatloaf from the pan and where the sauce comes from. I assume you lift the meat loaf out of the pan and the sauce is at the bottom of the pan?

I do like a fair amount of the recipes however I cannot make a lot of them as they do not mix with diabetes, hypertension and other family issues. Is there room for recipes that require less salt,sugar and fat but can be enjoyed while working to get healthier? Thanks

I make a similar recipe except I heat the brow sugar & ketchup in a small pan on top of the stove for a few minutes & pour it on to of the meatloaf the last 5 minutes of baking.

I make a very similiar recipe....except I put the sauce mixture on top of the meatloaf....and sprinkle some nutmeg in the ketchup and brown sugar.

Made this tonight for my family. It was a big hit. There wasn't a crumb left. I added some garlic powder to the recipe for extra flavor but other than that, followed the recipe to a tee. I will definitely make this again.

This is the same as my Grand mother's only I take the drippings and boil with a good shiraz and yummmm!
