I followed the recipe as in the video, but rolled the biscuit quarters in flower. That will thicken the broth and keep the biscuits from sticking to each other. I also thawed frozen broccoli cuts and added them. Great Food!

Wow!!! This recipe was AMAZING!! My husband & 4 kids LOVED it.. I without a doubt will be making this again. It is definately a keeper.. EXTREMELY TASTY!! I added a few things.... a can of Chicken Broth in addition to water, 3 potatoes, 2 carrots & parsley. Before I put the quartered bisquits into crockpot I added a little flour & water mixture to thicken it up a bit... Im sure the recipe would have been good as is but the few things I added made it absolutely AMAZING. If you have pickey eaters (Kids) like I do, you really should give this recipe I try. My whole family complimented on how tasty it is & already said they want it again sometime soon :)

I am really loving to cook again. I ate chicken as a child so broth rather water is better for me, i mean to say chicken and dumplings! As a child.I can still taste them.

Pretty good recipe, but really easy to kick it up a notch. For ex--better than canned biscuits is Bisquick dumplings. Follow the recipe on the Bisquick box. They come out tender, fluffy, yummy. Getting hungry just thinking about them!!

Made this dish this past week and it was delicious right out of the crock pot as well as leftovers the rest of the week. I did make the changes suggested in other posts; 6 chicken breast (vs 4), chicken broth (vs water) and added a little course black pepper. A repeat for sure!

Never use frozen chicken as it must be soaked and washed in salted water and then rinsed well and dried - My dad worked in a chicken market as a kid and he said it is filthy. I like the idea of tortillas instead of canned biscuits too - I already gave my recipe for cream of chicken or beef soup - Herbox sodium free packet mixed with 8 oz boiled water - let it cool and add a few tbls of corn starch and mixed into your recipes - no sodium at all !

This recipe was a home run in my family. Everyone raved about it.The only addition I made was extra, extra black restaurant style pepper. Gravy without lots of black pepper is not gravy in my eyes.
