I made this two nights ago. We don't drink beer, but I had a bottle left over from a party so I used 1/2 (6oz) and 6oz chicken broth. I used Hot Chili Con Carne instead of Chili beans. Turned out great. Even better the second night.

Made the sustituting chicken broth for the beer ...turned out delicious and so tasty!!!!I froze some in serving size dishes tastes as good as if I just made the soup as it reheated nicely!!!MMMMMM GOOD!!!

I tried this soup and knew instantly my son would LOVE it as I did. I did it with the beer and could not taste it at all. I added mor chicken and beans, my neighbor loved it also. Thanks for the great recipe!!!!

Awesome recipe:)) I hope it's ok to replace the beer for chicken broth! I would never bring a beer can into my home or get caught buying that!!!

Ive made a similar Taco Soup on stovetop but w/o the chicken. I used ground beef and Rotel tomatoes. The secret ingredient was a package of Ranch Dressing mix. Very easy to make and tastes great. I'll def try this recipe though.
