How to Roast Winter Vegetables

Bring out the earthy flavor of winter vegetables by roasting them in the oven. In this video, you’ll learn how to make a roasted winter vegetable medley. We’ll take you through a step-by-step recipe, starting with seeding, peeling, and cutting a whole pumpkin. Combined with potatoes, onions, turnips, and beets, the winter vegetables are tossed with an olive oil, garlic, and cumin seed mixture and roasted in the oven until the vegetables are tender and golden brown. You’ll see a great tip for cutting onions into wedges that will stay together as they cook.

Easy to follow, this video answers a myriad of questions I had about using various winter vegetables. I followed the process and could not be happier with this 5 star dish. Most important, the video encouraged me to explore these root veggies because I'd had NO idea what to do with them

need a lumberjack to cut up all the veggies-but like the seasoning of the oil--will use that little recipe but you won't find me peeling a pumpkin anytime soon

Would be nice if there was a print version to go with the video.
