@ karenmulhern It takes a very closed-minded person to comment negatively on something they've not even tried.

I never like the taste of any casserole that includes canned soup. Yes it sounds easy but it tastes "easy" too. Won't be doing this one.

Marikay Is it 1 cup of white wine? (you have can) also is it and of the cream of soups you want? Cook on 350? This really sounds yummy. Just want to make sure I have the correct recipe.

Sounds like everyone has a variation on this one...Here's mine: 1 can ea. of cr. of mush, cr of chicken, cr of celery, add 1 can white wine, mix together, pour over ckn & rice. Top with layer of Parm cheese, corn flake crumbs, drizzle with melted butter, and almond slices. Bake 1 hr! MMMM MMMM, its 'hummin' food! Very aromatic too!

We call this 'Idiot's Chicken'. 2 cans cream soup (chicken, mushroom, celery), 1 can rice, 1 can water. Dump all that in the pan & stir it together. Lay the chicken on top, pour a little melted butter on it & bake it. Thanks Grams for the paprika idea - have to do that next time. It's a family fave.
