The rouge won't thicken. Just turns brown. Opened new bag of all purpose flour so I know it was the right kind. Need immediate help.

I have made this apple pie recipe several times and it is always a big hit! I have used different varieties of apples as well and as long as they are not too sweet, this pie comes out perfectly every time! Absolutely fantastic!!

Hello, this recipe really stuck out. I have stopped making pies as I have scoliosis and it is so hard to just peel the apples even though apple pie thin sliced apples especially is my favorite, I like them to cook to a transparent stage. I would love to get the apple peeler that was shown on the video. I do believe I would make many more apple pies. Thank you all. Oh by the way my name is Cyndy.

I bought my apple trimmer at "Bed Bath and Beyond"; it cost $19.99. I had one from Pampered Chef; it currently sells online for $32.00, plus if you need the base to clamp it down, that's another $18.50! The peeler I bought at BB and B worked just as well, plus it had a vacuum base so there's no need to clamp it.

Abp+Alexander, Pampered Chef used to sell an apple peeler, corer slicer. I got mine at a rummage sale!
