Unfortunately the video kept playing the dialog over itself constantly and was very aggravating. Did not even watch it all as it was choppy, not smooth at all. And the recipe given was "inspired" by the restaurant recipe. Would have liked to actually watched it as it was supposed to be. The chiles mom handled were dry, not fresh, and there is a difference. I am sure she has done these for so many years she knows what she is doing.

One thing I noticed - and I hope others did too - is that this woman did NOT wear any type of gloves when handling the chiles. Any time you handle chiles, you should wear gloves - at a minimum, you should wash your hands for a Very long time after handling chiles - because if you happen to rub your eyes, the oil from the chiles will cause them to burn very painfully.

I am so impressed with the family solidarity, and the dishes look so incredible!! Made with love! Your mother reminds me of my own mom, and grand mom (now 99!)-- constantly serving others, always self-sacrificing for the people they love and even people they don't know-- taking care of others is all they know!! God Bless all of them!! AND-- the food looks incredible. My 99 yr old grandmother is still recruited to make gravy on holidays, WHY? Because that woman could make gravy from ANYTHING! Your mom is awesome! God Bless your family!

I love trying new dishes, and found this way of making enchiladas interesting. The love of these two brought a tear to my eye.

I could NOT understand what they were saying. Sorry, I guess I won't be trying this. Just watching, I KNOW my hubby won't even try it. If his momma didn't make it when he was a kid, he AIN'T gonna try/like it. LOL He's VERY afraid of new foods.
