I stuck with the 'tried and true' cream of mushroom soup, then added sour cream as well. The cheddar cheese was a nice addition. I also reduced the amount of chopped onion in the recipe by half and stayed with the French's dried onions as a crusty topper. It turned out a really well. The next time, I'm adding some frozen Miatake (Hen of the Woods) mushrooms that I found this Fall to the green bean mix for an extra treat.
