We loved it. Read comments so I just used one can of tomatoes, no water and added one extra clove of garlic. Can't wait to make it for the rest of the family.

Hello. Too much from Texas. Yes on the flour tortillas. This is a good recipe, not the one I use but close. Want authentic? Gripes from Texas- make your own tortillas, use various peppers for spice and Mexican cheeses, then criticize. Like I wrote, this is a good recipe.

These are not enchiladas, they are baked burritos. Enchiladas require CORN tortillas. But at least the recipe doesn't call for canned soup like some others I've seen...

I made these this evening just like the recipe here and they were AWESOME! Just WONDERFUL, my mouth was in Heaven! Im from South Texas as well and I didn't care that they were flour tortillas , I just wanted something different and this Was PERFECT , my kids even loved them and they are picky! Lol Thank you!

We don't eat flour tortillas so I made with corn. Easy weekend night meal with pantry-ready ingredients. Tasty.

I live in South Texas and I have never, ever seen anyone use flour tortillas to make enchiladas -- must be corn and down here they are 'bubble gum' tortillas (they are pink) but white would taste the same and so much better than flour
