When I read the recipe name,"Best Steak Marinade in Existence", I thought, "No way. But sure, I'll give it a try". Wow!!! It lives up to it's name! My husband, not usually one to make a big deal over food, commented a couple of times about how good it was. I've made it twice now. But I thought it made a lot of marinade - I ended up throwing alot out after marinating when I made it the first time. The second time, I split the marinade in half before I added it to the meat. I put the unused portion in the freezer for another time, and I still had plenty to use for two large steaks. Thanks for the recipe! We love it!

I have found that using a large ziploc bag for the marinade and meat is far more efficient than using a bowl. Be sure the ziploc seal is tight, and just turn the ziploc every half hour while it marinates in the refrigerator.

Okay...I updated the Adobe Flasher then shut down and restarted my computer. Then I was able to view this video. This looks like a tasty marinade. I may add some oregano and do the rest as written.

This video wouldn't load for me! I'm not sure why. I've never had a problem with other videos from this site.

I think that my marinade is much better, and more simple, and produces a crust like outside, with a tender inside. I simply combine equal parts of a good Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce (l&P would be my choice), and, believe it or not,a commercial product called Gravy Master. I add an appropriate amount of EVOO to the mix, marinate the steaks, and finish off with a healthy dollop of freshly cracked peppercorns. The result is truly restaurant quality, particularly if done on the grill, although a well seasoned grill pan works equally as well. Bon Apetite.
