Perhaps it doesn't make a lot of difference here, but I was taught to measure ingredients over the sink - not over the bowl! Look how much extra she slops into the icing! In some recipes, this could be problematic!

This recipe was great but didn't make nearly enough icing...I only had 2 dozen cookies to decorate but I had to double the recipe (my cookies were large though...about 4" across). Also, I used a spoon to apply the icing and it worked very well.

This is a great recipe but the video does not do it justice at all. You can easily keep it thicker for a pastry bag and use the thinner consistency for fill in. I have never seen someone use a mid size paint brush on cookies. I can' t imagine these cookies looked good.

It would be really nice to see these when they're fully set. I think a lot of people also decorate more than slapping on some icing and going with that...
