Here in really Northern New England, we would suggest brown sugar or maple syrup. That will make perfect even better.

this is a really good recipes but not as good as mine my one is very creamy and lots of flavors but i have made it and tried it and its good but not amazing good

I have been trying to make home made rice pudding for about 4 years now......I finally find out that the reason my rice pudding never turned out the way it was suppose to is because the rice I was using,,,, I did not know that medium grain or short grain rice was the best too use....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I give this recipe 6 stars and 3 thumbs up!!!!!! awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

Tied making this rice pudding receipt and it was easy to do, just left out the raisons and it still tasted GREAT ! It's a good thing I made more than I would have as my dinner guests had 3 helpings each and wanted the how to make it as well. I give it 5 STARS and 2 thumbs up, as it was way better than I thought.

This rice pudding is absolutely delicious. I did, however, instead of butter, add half-and-half at the end to the desired consistency. The result was wonderful, with a creamy and silky result.
