Pretty sure I already posted here but it's worth saying again.. This is the best "Pineapple Upside-down Cake" I've ever eaten!.. I only had canned tidbits, also added maraschino cherries since I wanted what I wanted ;) We always had this as a kid and have to say, it's better than Moms' recipe!

thank you sooo much for this recipe! i've tried this several times, using different variations. none of them mentioned allowing the butter/brown sugar to reach that consistency. makes the difference!

I've never tried it with browned butter, I'm going to try it this time. I love this so much. Making it for Xmas.

I love pineapple upside down cakes, I always make mine in a bundt pan. It always get glowing reviews as people always expect to see this has been cooked in a skillet or plain pan.
