I just cooked this today and it was a hit, everybody loved it. Thanks chef for the recipe. I am sorry that I didn't take any pictures but it was gone until I could think of that.

This was very filling. I like Chicken and vegies . I added mushroom because I didn't want the mushroom to spoil.

The recipe is under comments. I tried this recipe and I substituted the zucchini for carrots because of my picky eater son. We really loved it and I will cook it for our friends and family.

Kung Wow (Kung Pao) Chicken By Chef John Serves 4 easily 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts. cut into 1-inch cubes Add to the marinade: 1 tablespoon white wine 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon brown sugar white parts from 3-4 green onions, chopped Cover and refrigerate for one hour Other ingredients: 2 tablespoons peanut vegetable oil for frying 4 Total cups of vegetables (if using fresh sliced mushrooms, double the qty. due to shrinkage) 2 cups cubed zucchini 1 cup cubed red bell pepper 2 Jalapenos with seeds (thinly sliced) 2 cups fresh mushrooms (sliced) For the sauce mixture: 1 tablespoon white vinegar 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 2 tablespoons white wine 1 tablespoon soy sauce, or more to taste Fresh Ground Black Pepper 2 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1 tablespoon Asian chili paste, or chili bean sauce, or more to taste 2 teaspoons ketchup 4 cloves minced garlic 1/2 cup chicken broth

This was really good! Even my picky eater liked it! I followed the recipe except for some veggie substitutions. I would never have thought to use my cast iron skillet for a stir fry, but it worked great! take his advice about not overcooking the veggies. If you cook them till they're "done", they will end up overcooked because the cast iron skillet holds the heat. I will make this again and often!
