I like my broccoli warm. Has anyone let it sit in dressing for 5-30minutes (reserving some of the dressing) and do a little reheat last minute over steam, then add the remaining dressing when taking it to the table?

Lovely salad. I've heard, though, that broccoli loses 80% of its nourishment when boiled! I wonder if it keeps more if you steam-boil it?

I would have never thought to eat the stems. I love how that there is really not much waste with this recipe. Also, this is a completely different salad than what I was thinking. I'm definitely going to try this.

Very mild flavor, which was what I was looking for.I cut the broccoli smaller it's easier to eat. I added some shredded asiago and it worked great!
