I used this video last year (my first year making the turkey!) and we are making Thanksgiving for 15+ this year and I am using it again. Rave reviews from all! Perfect for all of us newbies.

I'm glad this has so many positive reviews. I'm hosting my first Thanksgiving this year and am going to try this out. I'm pretty adept at most cooking/baking but have never made a turkey before. FINGERS CROSSED!!

I tried this recipe this Christmas for my family of 14!. I have never cooked a turkey before!. It was so deliciously moist and brown!. Everybody loved it so much that there was no turkey left!. From one big Aussie fan....THANK YOU CHEF JOHN!. :) Next year wil try turkey with stuffing!. Of course shall follow your video. :))

Great video! However I would suggest removing the gizzards prior to washing the turkey for less chance of bacterial contamination.

Loved this video. Wished I had seen it last year. I will surely do it this year. Probably use bottled sage and rosemary due to our markets do not carry fresh herbs.

Tried this recipe and it really is amazing! Just make sure you let your turkey thaw (in a dish to catch the juices) in the fridge at least 3 days (I recommend a week) before you try to cook it.
