Homemade Horseradish Sauce

There’s no need to buy horseradish sauce from the grocery store, not when homemade horseradish sauce is so simple to make and so much better tasting. In this video, Chef John shows you how to make horseradish sauce with pure extra-hot horseradish and crème fraiche or sour cream. All it takes are just a few simple ingredients. For the best results, let the sauce’s flavors combine in the fridge for several hours before serving alongside prime rib, spreading onto a roast beef sandwich, or using as a dip for fresh veggies. Enjoy! Watch the video, then get the recipe for Chef John's Homemade Horseradish Sauce.

Georgina, I don't know if you have a Gelson's Market in NYC, but that would be the place. Also, you can get raw horse radish at just about any grocery store, and grate it like you would raw ginger. That's the best way to get really hot horse radish!
