In this video, you’ll see how to make a simple pasta with Italian sausage and greens. As the onions and sausage cook, they create a flavorful fond, to which you'll add a little broth, and then cook the pasta directly in the broth. So easy and delicious! Add your greens at the end. Chef John is using arugula, but feel free to use your favorite green. This is the perfect meal for college kids. I made this for the first time yesterday. It was so easy and took very little time. It was really good. I loved the sauce made from the mix of favors and the thickness from the pasta. I am always looking for recipes that I can make quickly after work and this is one. I used Kale and spinach; that is what I had in the house. Will try other veggies and maybe turkey sausage. Excellent!

Pronounced Or-eh-kyetta. This is my favorite pasta when made with broccoli rabe, chopped and seared Italian sausage, olive oil and orrechiette pasta.

Made dish inspired by this recipe. Used chicken saugage, frozen spinach, tripoline pasta. chilli flakes for a bit of heat. My fimily loved it. Thanks,Chef John for help me think outside my box of recipes.

Looks good. I would try it with broccoli instead of spinach. I'm surprised Chef John didn't add pepper since he loves to put that in everything. :)
