In this video, you’ll see how to make a tomato and burrata salad. Go ahead, stack it up! Spreading buttery burrata cheese between layers of heirloom tomato slices and beautiful fresh basil leaves. Salt and pepper generously and drizzle with good quality olive oil. That's all there is to it! It’s not just a tomato and mozzarella salad. As Chef John says, “Comparing mozzarella and burrata is a little unfair, as burrata is significantly richer and creamier.” Watch the video, then get Chef John’s recipe for Stacked Tomato and Burrata Salad. This is the salad to make when tomatoes are at their ripest. See more Chef John videos >>

All I'm getting when I try to watch the videos is an ad video for babybel cheese! Can anyone help me?

I love that plate used to hold the burrata. Please tell me where I can find it? And as someone said, a Drake reference is far too cool and coincidentally at the recent bohemian wedding for Evan and Ashley Simpson-Ross-Naess that Diana Ross hosted at her Greenwich estate....guess what was on the menu? No less than burrata & tomato salad. Waaay cool.

Love his receipes. Love his voice. Love his sense of humor. Thank you for all of the absolutely terrific receipes, Chef John...I have tried several and each one I tried was delicious, as well as easy to prepare. My husband, children, and grandchildren love the flank steak that has to be poked 100 times and then marinated before grilling.

good idea ! just way too much nasty black pepper ! Tomatoes taste wonderful, no need to cover that up with bitter herbs. Plus use a lightly flavored olive oil, heavy flavored oil will again cover the long awaited tomato taste!
