Sorry I said beef tenderloin, it was a Pork Tenderloin. Hubby requested to have it again on Fathers Day this Sunday, thats how good it was.

I made this today and doubled the marinate, put meat and mar. in plastic bag in fridge for 9 hours. Put on grill and cooked for approx.45 min turning several times making a crispy crust all the way around. Wow, this was the best Beef Tenderloin I have ever made and I have made plenty of them. It was so juicy and oh so tender. This will be the only way I make it from now on. Hubby agrees. 5 Stars. Oops forgot I used Teriakyi Sauce not soy.

This is definitely my go to marinade for pork tenderloin as well as pork chops. I have also used it for chicken thighs and legs. I don't use sherry but I love the taste of Port wine for cooking so I use that. This has become the requested dinner when we have guests who have previously joined us. I usually marinate for at least 6 hours up to 12. I have not done them on the BBQ but in a 350 degree oven for about 20-25 minutes. The tenderloin are so moist and slightly pink in centre ...perfect. Do boil down the marinade for a sauce...sublime with the meat and people who never take sauces will ask for more.

Looks good, i'll give it a shot. Curious why i'd use my measuring cup to 'stabilize the bag' when i'd need it to measure...I know that'd send me on a hunt around my kitchen for my measuring cup..;) Also, I would use fresh veggies where possible. I charcoal grill with mesquite chips regular pork loins and not sure if 20 mins would cook these to my desired temp. Pork has to hit at least 145' (medium rare) and then let it sit a bit. yum!

Roasted this up in the oven tonight and both my wife and my neighbor thought it was marvelous. Did wind up marinating it for almost three days due to various extenuating circumstances, not the least of which being that my gas grill was discovered to have housed a family of Squirrels over the winter and required extensive cleaning. I would vote actually in favor of the longer marinating time, as it was delicious. Next time,I would: a) Save the Marinade and boil it down for a savory sauce as some have reccommnded and b) not cook it so long. I felt that it was done at an internal temp of 150F, but my wife wanted to go to 160F. The extra cooking time bought it to 170F, and it was just a tad overdone. But KUDOS to Wendy for sharing this recipe.

This recipe is no big deal. Marinated it for 24 hours. Didn't taste that super. MEAT was fine but not any flavor.

Instead of soy sauce, use teriyaki marinade. So good. :)
