If they taste half as good as they look, I don't care what they are called or whether or not lettuce is placed in the oven.

I never put lettuce in the oven....ever. In Arizona we say "enchilada style".

These comments are hilarious... Lettuce in the oven? Okay... So what? It's a cooked version of what some of you want crunchy. No biggie. Not authentic? Authentic according to whom? For what culture? Was the intent stated? I'm not kicking anyone for posting a comment, of whatever kind, but really, if anyone reading these is like me, they just want to know how it turned out when someone cooked it "as is". The comments posted about how it "sounds" are opinions about an unknown quantity. Make it and taste it. New things are discovered all the time by just venturing out. React with your own palette in mind and we'll decide on our own. Just my 2¢. My humble process is to follow the recipe, and if I vary I state it, and see what I think. All palettes are different. Can't begrudge someone for liking what they like.

I'm from Grand Rapids and the TOTALLY put lettuce in the wet burrito. Also, the sound of 'wet' might sound gross to you, but maybe you don't like sauce. So why did you even click on it?? And lastly, there is no such thing as "Authentic" Wet Burrito. They are NOT Mexican...or any other traditional meal in other countries. It is an American dish, kinda like most things at Taco Bell are not real names for Mexican cuisine. Regardless, I will try this and put it to the test. I LOVE wet burritos and I can't find a place like The Dungeon or Beltline Bar.

It looked good to me and it was not stated that it was traditional so why the complaints? The recipes here are merely suggestions and by all means add or omit as you please but stop complaining!

I am used to videos of food made to look nice or easy, but rarely are the such a flop. This looks simply awful. 1.Why would you bake shredded iceberg lettuce? Yuck. 2. Why would you add enchilada sauce if you are trying to make enchilada sauce? You have only succeeded in diluting the canned sauce that already tastes dreadful. 3. Cold stiff tortillas with baked cheese on the top will yield cold stiff tortillas as a finished product.

1, you don't use lettuce when baking in oven, 2, the tortillas were not even heated right.

The name "Wet Burritos" just sounds gross ... but I get it ... and yes everyone, baking lettuce in the oven inside the burrito is a no-no.
