Made this for my family this week and they loved it. I will lessen the lemon juice next time, as it was too sour and I had to add a little sugar. I did follow the recipe exactly the way it was written.

The mushrooms get a better texture and flavor if you saute them with the chicken.

This looks really good except I would not add all the veggies. I will tweak mine by adding more lemon and garlic and add a couple of teaspoons of lemon curd for a touch of sweetness. I will not need to cook as long because the veggies take longer to cook through. I will have garlic mashed potatoes as my side dish.

My comment was started for the Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II. By the time I was finished writing it, this photo was at the top. (?). Anyway, I haven't tried the above recipe with the Video link.

I questioned this recipe because of the "six hours to cook chicken breasts" part. That seemed really long to me, but when I try a new recipe I usually make it as written and tweak it the next time. I did double the sauce on this and it still mostly cooked away in the six hours. The chicken breasts were way over - cooked and on the dry side. Having said that, the flavors and sauce that was left was very good, so I will do this again...trying three hours on Low, not six and monitor it from there. Definitely worth making.......see what you think.
