someon commented on the Pillsbury pie crust that you buy in a store as being rubbery. No way!!! This is one creation that I appreciate and they are wonderful and flaky. In fact, I always roll them out a bit so they aren't so thick, especially if I am making a larger pie than 9 inch. Then I roll out the scraps, lightly butteer them and sprinkle with cinnomon and sugar and pop in the over whilethe pie is baking. These are great treats for kids and dad while waiting for the pie to be ready. My aunt always made hers from scratch until in her late 80's when she discovered ready made pie crusts. Wow, this made pie making faster and easier and just as good. She used them until she died a few days before the age of 95.
