In this video, you’ll see how to make gougères, the cheesy French puff pastries. We know them simply as cheese puffs! But they're delicious no matter what you call them. And surprisingly easy to make. Traditional gougères call for gruyere cheese. Chef John’s making them with sharp Cheddar cheese, but any sharp, full-flavored cheese will do nicely. Incredibly easy, amazingly delicious, they’re the perfect appetizer for wine-tasting parties. Watch the video, then get the recipe for Chef John's Party Cheese Puffs. Make twice as many as you think you’ll need—these cheesy puffs are totally addicting! See more Chef John videos >>
