Its a good video and im glad this information has made its way to the masses, but I wouldn't say you developed it. I've been doing this exact same recipe for almost 10 years now and the chef who taught me has been doing it for 20+ years. But again this is great. Good job.

Who would have thought of using potatoes to make onion rings? Oh yeah, the modest and humble Chef John! What a fun video!

I don`t think I got it down. The first few rings breaded well, after those the breading would not stick.Maybe dropping the breading over the ring,or,adding an egg,or,at least the white....HELP! I love the crunch, and the taste Yummy!

We tried these and, frankly, we were disappointed. The batter didn't stick to the onion rings and made for a very scantily covered ring. Yes, they are very crunchy, but we thought they were too crunchy. The taste wasn't what we are used to with fried onion rings either--too bready. I'll try the recipe again, but next time I'll mix some AP flour with the Panko bread crumbs.
