I separate the whole wheat pita halfs into two disks before cutting into small wedges. This makes the chips super crisp, like a chip. I dust the pan of chips with dill and pop into the oven. No need for oil! This makes for an extremely healthy chip and the flavor and texture is amazing.

I have made pita chips before, I brushed mine with garlic oil, topped with kosher salt, pepper and italian seasoning.
