Chef John, I am 59 years old and today was the very first time that I made fried chicken. I am glad that you were my first teacher. LOL Waiting for my husband to come home to be my taste tester. Chicken is his favorite but I am unable to eat a lot of it so he has to be my guinea pig

I learned years ago that buttermilk is a great marinade, so I always marinade my chicken in it. Now days, it's either oven fried or baked but this can be part of my low carb regimen, with Soy flour of course. Thanks!!!

I LOVE this method of making fried chicken. I also love baking the breaded chicken to cut down on calories.
