Thanks for the video! It was really helpful to see how this was done. I threw in some Johnny's seasoning salt for the first batch and it helped add a nice kick. I also used this recipe and a nice BBQ Honey sauce recipe and made a true treat!

Did every exactly as instructed, crust came out burnt. Chicken was barely above the dry level. We even cut down the cooking time.

As far as the disposing of the oil, my area has composting so they advised me to freeze the oil in paper cups (Dunkin,Starbucks or Tim Horton's cups) and then dispose in roadside composter on pick up day.

I have a 9 cup deep fryer. How long would i put the pieces in if using the deep fryer?

You can take the oil to the autopart store. Theyll recycle it after you use it a few time of course:)

I'm just curious--how does one dispose of all that oil? The sink won't take it, the bacon grease coffee can won't either. The recipe sounds delicious.
