Allrecipes-I would love the recipe for the frosting that was used to pipe the cupcakes as well as the size of the tip. I usually use a buttercreme frosting but would love this as it looks wonderfull to work with.thanks!

You can also use a watercolor paintbrush to "paint" frosting on cupcakes. I use a fairly large one and make them look textured. I do like the piping but i never do that great of a job. Maybe I need a better tip. I think its kind of a pain to keep filling the bag but I will try again after watching the video.

Thanks so much for the help! I've always been terrible at frosting cupcakes, lol but it may just be that no one has ever shown me how to do it until now!

@Sammie414 & CookinMamof3: If both of you are avid bakers I suggest investing in a good decorating kit, most include a pipingg bag and several tips. Another idea, if you already have the piping bag, is purchase a professional star tip kit which includes several tips of varing size & number. And remember, stressed spelled backwards is desserts.. so even if it dosen´t look all that professional you can still eat it :D

I'd love to know which tip it is too. Looks so elegant compared to the Wilton 1M. Searched Ateco star tips on the internet but the pictures provided only show top view, no side view like the video above (pause at 1.18), which is a large deep cut closed star with 6 tips. Could it be Ateco #852? I couldn't find any on Wilton's website that's close as far as I can tell.
