of course you would switch the kale for the BokChoy(what he used was actually called pe-chai),which would have been delicious if he put it in for 5 minutes. Cooking the bok choy as long as the potatoes totally ruined it whereas kale is quite rugged and can be cooked that long. The veggies in the Bok Choy family are quite delicate, otherwise I could taste that dish right thru the screen masarap!

I was looking for a new different slow cooker recipe to try for my parents to give them some variety and this one was great. I have done all the basics and they are all great comfort foods. My folks are in their late 80's and still love a bit of spice in their life. Thanks!

Make it paleo: Sub coconut oil for veg oil, sweet potato for potato, and kale for the bok choy! Excellent recipe!
