Here is an idea for easy beef pot roast. Simple. I cover my baking pan with foil. I take my roast and season with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides. If you want to do it ahead of time and put in refrigerator for the next day you can. It soaks in the seasoning. Than before I put in oven in a 350 degree oven I take one onion and slice in half. Take the one half and cut in half again place on top of meat. Take half green bell pepper and slice in half. Take that half and slice again in 3. Place on top of meat. Cover in foil and make sure it is sealed around and cook. After 3 hrs check and it will be very tender. Serve with mash potatoes and gravy and a vegetable. Its very simple, favorable, and easy. FYI make sure you leave the meat at room temp to warm so it will not be tough cause placing meats in hot oven right away or grilling stinks the meat and makes it tough.

I would not trust any plastics out there that say BPA safe. The only plastic I trust has been the one for years everyone avoids due to being expensive Tupperware Brand. You know the one that has it imprinted. Plus has a live time warranty as long as damage is not done intentional. When I use ZIPLOCK either bags or containers I put foil in container over lapping. Than pour food and fold over and place lid and freeze. I love Tupperware and have lots of it. I buy the ZIPLOCK to send with leftovers for friends cause the real Tupperware Brand rarely makes it back home LOL. Not sure if I am keeping the toxins out that way, but is an idea.

ZIPLOCK sponsored with Rachael Ray....... Is this product PBA FREE (or whatever the initials of this toxin are) And precautions about microwaving..... and putting hot ingredients in ziplock?

I wouldn't consider myself a cook but I do want my meals to be tasty and this certainly was. I added fresh mushrooms to the carrots etc..... I recently treated myself to a Le Crueset pot and was able to brown on the stove and for the first time use it in my oven. This recipe certainly is a keeper.
