Oh wow, this looks fantastic! I've been looking for a homemade mac & cheese (my husband loves it!) and this recipe looks delicious to try. Chef John has great recipes, the Sweet Hot Mustard Chicken Thighs and his Cherry Bomb Chicken are also amazing! Thanks for sharing your recipes! This video will be very helpful!

Chef John is great. I always check his recipes first. Making great food isn't about using the MOST ingredients, it's about using the RIGHT ingredients. Chef John knows this and I love every recipe of his I have ever used.

My children are a big fan of macaroni and cheese. Not only did they enjoy eating it but had fun chipping to prepare it. The little ones did the grating and prepping while my grown girls worked with me at the stove.

@einargk maybe for the bread crumbs you can leave the GF bread out for a day or two or maybe you can cook the bread longer than you usually do but don't let it go to long or it will burn and maybe try to grate the bread using a box grater on the larger holes or food processer good sources for GF breadcrumbs are however I have never tried them
