The fabulous B. Smith is a real cooking phenom, especially known for her soulful interpretation of delicious dishes. IF SHE RECOMMENDS PILLSBURY BUTTERMILK GRANDS, USE THEM. This was absolutely delicious. I can also see cooking chicken (poaching) like this in the future for chicken stock and cooked chicken. I don't own a 9 qt Le Creuset, so I used my 6 qt oval Corning pot ...just reduced the liquid to what fit in the pot, which was about 1 1/2 quarts. And the herbs can be flexible .. I didn't have herb de provence so I combined sage, thyme, and fennel. I was leary about the refrigerated biscuits, but they were pretty good.
