Video: Cake Pop Maker

Nice to see how easy this can be!

I'd like other recipes, appetizer-like to make in this appliance.

I have one of these and they are wonderful!

To lynn: they have recipes on their website...www.thebabycakesshop.com...but not all of them are on there...if you haven't found the recipe booklet yet, email me: ginagmc@hotmail.com and I will send them to you...I don't mind, it wouldn't take long, I type very fast. lol And for everybody, I've been making cakepops with the cake pop maker for almost a year now, and for me they pretty much come out perfect every time. First, I spray all the wells, upper and lower, very lightly with cooking spray, EVERY TIME you place the batter in them. You might have to wipe the inside of the wells with a paper towel between batches if you get a build up of cooking spray. Be careful not to burn your fingers. Next, I bake them for exactly 4 minutes, set your timers.... If for some reason they are not perfectly round and cooked in 4 minutes just check them every 10-15 seconds after that; but 4 minutes seems to be my magic number (btw...I'm located in Southern California for those wondering regarding

I received mine as a gift last christmas, they bought it from Kohls.

i have one and its not as easy as it looks it took me several times with tons of trial and error to get most of my cake pops to turn out. Like how much batter to use exactly how to make them not stick, and when it did stick it was super hard to clean but ended up using a very light spraying of non-stick to help. Also, if you use the right amount you rarely have to trim them. But I do find no matter what you will have some ooze out the side and it isn't easy to clean. If you have more questions as and I will check back. I will say this my daughters kindergarten loved it, the school bake sale they went the fastest and once you get the hang on it is pretty fun but it is work and for me it takes a long time especially since I find I can only dip maybe 2-4 pops before I have to reheat the icing/chip mixture(usually white chocolate chips at our house). This is my truth.

I've been making cake pops for awhile and they are great! I just wish I had that machine. But you can just crumble cake and frosting to form a ball and then bake it! Hope this helps :)

Oh ~ what a great video. I've seen cake pops for a while, but always thought they looked hard work. This little Gizmo, shows just how easy it can be!!!

haha... I bet these started in Japan, that cake pop maker looks like my takoyaki maker (Octopus meatballs eaten in Japan during summer festivals).
