These are so delicious I used allspice instead of just nutmeg. Allspice has nutmeg in it, I also doubled the recipe less 1/2 tsp. of baking powder (so 1 1/2 tsp. only)and combined margarine and butter. For the topping I used sugar, allspice and a dash of cinnamon. Total prep and bake time less then 30 minutes Oh I made 12 regular size muffins -- This recipe is a keeper

This is an an AMAZING recipe that takes almost no time at all. I made these in a normal sized muffin pan and baked it for 10 minutes. Perfect!
