Chef are just the best! i just love seeing your videos and i am NEVER disappointed in the recipes from you! My all time favorite is the belly wrapped salmon on leek potato chowder! That is just an all time "Valentine's dinner" winner! I've made it each year so far on Valentines day and i always got...llllots...of complements! lol

LOVE the technique, Chef John! Mine consist of salt, pepper,butter, sour cream, chives and also like your idea of WHITE cheddar.

I've made these for years, and I cook an extra potato to make them fuller. I also whip them with my mixer a little as I don't like lumps. They do freeze well but seldom have any leftovers, and I do make lots. I do cut mine in half and the extra potato makes them full. Oh yes, scrub them well as most people love the skins, too.

I have been making these for years. When I buy ten lbs of potatoes I make up a batch and freeze them, with each potatoe wrapped in plastic wrap. Freeze well and bake for abot an hour.
