Vodka is a wonderful beverage, delicious in many cocktails and everyone should drink what they like. Still,a Martini is made with gin. They call it a Vodka Martini to differentiate it from a Martini. A vodka martini is so named as are other martini-like cocktails i.e. Apple tini and others. Classy bartender in that video. Dapper, starched jacket and great mustache. Nice panache with the shaking too!

We always use Vodka because we cannot stand Gin and we always use a shaker and it's never slushy! Also, we always make them very dirty.

Vodka in a martini makes as much sense as putting wheels on a tomato. Martini's are made with gin. (and gesauce is right, never shaken - unless you want a martini slushy)
