This is a terrible way to make beer batter fish. The batter does not stick to the fish. I did a sample because of one of the reviews said the same thing. I was able to save it by adding one egg to give the batter to act as a glue and it worked.

Went fishing in the marshes of Jacksonville,FL. My son caught a 13lbs Red Fish. This fish fed 9 people with leftovers. I used this receipt and everyone loved it. Its very light and does not over power the fish. I dumped to much paprika in the mix and it made the fish to dark. So I recommend not to use to much Paprika. I used a lime Budweiser and it tasted great. I also recommend dusting the fish with flour first and then dipping in the batter. I am sending this receipt to my brother for future catches. Give it a try and you'll love it.

There is a link to the recipe. As always. Relax. Besides, sometimes there are good tips in the videos. This one is inordinately long, though. lol

The recipe looks simple enough to follow and I'm sure delicious. The beer batter does not taste of beer but the seasonings should be very tasty. I'm sure one could tweak it to their own tastes. Only one gripe......I like both the video and the written recipe to boot. I can then print the recipe and take it into the kitchen!!

some recipes i've seen suggest letting the beer batter sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour before using.
