They sell already grilled chicknn by Purdue.,that I'm adding..the original Caesar, th sy server would do it at your table.,always/a wodeen salad bowl, then they took the raw garlic and rubbed all over the bottom the salad bowl.,tossed out/egg yolk/anchovy ..I do miss that egg yolk, it takes it to an amazing level/ but I can not longer take chances with raw foods., the croutons i would season/butter or oil/season with herbs.,toast in oven.. It makes a huge difference. And this salad once tossed must be eatren,,for me I make the dressing in in ball small jar/shaking real well and taking portions of salad since I'm eating for one:-) :-)

This was lovely. My 5 year old, who isn't a fan of salads, has been nagging me to make this again. That says a lot for this recipe:) Very delicious.

This is the same recipe that I have been making for ears but with egg yolk and oil. Deliciousthe old way.

yes i did not brown the garlic so much that it becomes bitter. and so it did not mess up the dressing when i added that garlic into it.

This came out delicious. i did not have anchovies and used sardines. i looked up another substitute and happen to have fish sauce which has anchovie in it. so used some of that. I also did not waste the cooked garlic that is discarded for the croutons. I chopped that up and added to the dressing. It is better than going to the oOlive Garden.

Raw garlic is the heart of this salad :)

Once garlic has browned, it can become bitter - I wouldn't use it in the dressing.

This recipe would have been better if instead of using the raw garlic in the dressing, use the sauteed garlic that was thrown away.
