Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

In this video, you’ll see how to make 5-star beef stroganoff in the slow cooker. The secret ingredient to this recipe is cream cheese. It’s even better than traditional versions using sour cream. The prep work is super easy. Simply cook beef, golden mushroom soup, chopped onion, and Worcestershire sauce in the slow cooker on low heat. Add the cream cheese just before serving. In place of sour cream and cream cheese, try 1 7.6oz can of Nestle Table Cream. It is absolutely delicious!

I like the cream cheese idea. Can't wait to try it. Don't you just Love a slow cooker. Awesome!!

I am always disappointed when a recipe calls for a cream-of-something condensed soup. Food Facts rates Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup a big, fat F. (contains margarine, yeast extract, MSG and caramel color) I haven't found one yet that doesn't have preservatives, artificial colors or flavors, and chemicals. It seems like such a cheat, and the recipe otherwise looks so good.
