Grandma’s Noodles II

In this video, you’ll see how to make homemade soup noodles like grandma used to make. These amazing egg noodles are easy to prepare. To make the dough, simply combine egg, salt, milk, flour, and baking powder. Best of all, they don’t get mushy if they sit overnight in leftover soup. You'll also see a great trick for cutting your dough into strips. Watch the video, then get Sandy’s 5-star recipe for Grandma’s Noodles II. You’ll love their taste and texture in soups and broths.

I have been making noodles for fifty years and the best flour to use for noodles is cake and pastry flour. All purpose flour makes the noodles tough. I do not use milk either. Joan I Osborn

My grandma never used baking soda OR baking powder - just eggs, salt, pepper, flour. She didn't use milk either. Her noodles were to die for!

Going to try this noodle recipe, except the video says to use baking SODA, and mentions nothing about baking POWDER. I'm going to "assume" I should use POWDER...Correct?
