I made these for my hubby for Easter and he said they were AMAZING. I even put some of the leftover egg mixture on bread and made him a sandwich with it. HE LOVED IT. THANK YOU FOR THIS EASY GREAT RECIPE!

Eggs that are a week old are much, much easier to peel than fresh ones. So I just plan ahead.

Im a retired chef and the best way I've found to have easy to peel hard boiled eggs is to put a hand ful of salt in the water when you boil them. 7 min.is a perfect time for nice yello yokes without a gray ring around them

Fresh Fresh eggs are harder to peel.

I hate peeling the eggs. I now buy pre-hard boiled, peeled eggs. They're usually a bit smaller though

For eggs that peel easily without sticking to the shell, try my grandmothers method: Cover eggs with cold water about 1/2" above the top. Bring to boil over high heat and immediately turn to med. heat for 10 min. Immediatelg run cold water over them until they are cool enough to handle comfortably. Use the edge of your thumb to sort of roll the edges of the cracked shell up. The membrane may have to be pulled up until it parts. Roll the shell off with the membrane and you will have a smooth white without the annoying and appearance detraction of peeling bits of the white off with the shell.

I like the idea of adding a little crunch to the eggs by mixing in some onion and celery. Definitely going to try that. Thanks!
