Thanks for a great idea Bacon & eggs, who would have thunk! Don't mind all the snarky comments about your technique w/ egg preparation etc. I fee I speak for most of those who surf recipes, we're simply looking for a new idea to set our creative juices flowing. Thanks a million, Ken

Add a bit of baking soda to the water (1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon) and they'll peel like a dream.

definitely should put vinegar in the water with the eggs. They should not be boiled, but just "dancing" before you turn off the heat, and leave them on the element for 17 minutes, then pour off the hot water and pour cold water over. Leave for 20 minutes, then they will peel like a dream and not show any grey on the yolk......

Can this mixture be made a day in advance kept in a sealed container in the refrig until ready to serve?

You should watch one of your other video's on how to boil an egg. IT WORKS and you don't get torn pieces from the egg such as you see in this video. Also if you are looking at the bacon it isn't torn up small enough to be evenly distributed throughout the yolk mixture. I noticed a black hue on the yolk and the difficulty in removing it, also watch your site's own video on how to boil an egg and this problem would be solved. Add salt, dash of pepper and some paprika on the top for accent and what kind of mustard was it you were using?

I find it easier to peel the eggs if you immediately place them in ice. Give it a try!
