instead of over a stove, put the butter, peanut butter, and SEMI-SWEET chocolate chips in a bowl and put in the microwave until melted!!! instead of going through the "trying to stay clean" thing with the mixing the chocolate mixture in a bowl, put the chex mex in a white or black plastic trash bag and then put the chocolate mixture on top. shake until fully coated (much faster) then pour the powdered sugar in the trash bag and shake until fully coated!!! this is a much faster way to make puppy chow!!! and it covers more!!!
