Manhattan Cocktail

In this video, you’ll see how to make a classic bourbon Manhattan cocktail. A bracing combo of bourbon whiskey, sweet vermouth, and a dash of Angostura bitters, this one dates back to the late 19th century. Watch the video, then get the recipe for the Manhattan Cocktail. Serve it up with a maraschino or brandied cherry. And try it with rye whiskey if you like.

I enjoyed one at Happy Hour at Trinidad's 'Purple Room' in Palm Springs recently.. the marachino cherries were real imported from Italy!

Two jiggers of Bourbon, 1 jigger of sweet vermouth, pour over ice in a cocktail shaker, shake and pour into a Manhattan/Martini glass and add a Maraschino cherry and you won't know a thing till morning. Best cocktail in history.
