Found that gourd type vegetables Like Pumpkins , squash , and zucchini can be softened quicker by cutting in half add a spoonful of butter to center put halves in a plastic bag twist the bags opening closed and tie with piece of string put a couple of small holes in top of bag. Cook on high in Microwave for a couple of minutes. A lot faster than a 90 minute baking time.
