I did exactly what the video did and my crust was thick and tough and not the least bit flaky?!! I made one apple pie in my life that had a flaky crust and wonderful filling...it was call the Perfect Apple Pie....and I've lost that recipe and can't find it anywhere?!!

Yes, I add milk instead of water, too. And I brush the top crust with a milk/egg wash and it browns to perfection.

Great tips - I don't think I've ever refrigerated my dough after mixing. Gonna try that next time!

To add this video to recipe box : 1. copy url 2. click "recipe box" 3. click "options" 4. choose "add weblink" from drop-down menu 5. paste url at the space provided 6. click "continue" & follow the instructions then on.
