The cake needs to be put upside down otherwise all of the air will leave the cake. I made "lead" cake for my daughters birthday one year. It was chewy!

I wish they would provide other mixing or baking options. I do not have a fancy mixer or pan. Will the cake still bake correctly in a normal pan?
