I was at a festival last year where they made fresh fruit smoothies using fruit and simple syrup. Does anybody know the ratio for that recipe? I like the idea of not using any other ingredients except those items.

I use ice instead of milk along with 8oz of vanilla yogurt and half a dozen strawberries . Delicious for breakfast.

You don't need a recipe really, just play with the amounts. I usually add 1 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup almond milk and a handful of strawberries, and I often thrown in a ripe banana. If this is too thick, just add some more milk and blend some more until you get the consistency you like. Enjoy!

You can play with the amount of milk, yogurt, or almond milk (which is what I use.) Try starting out with 3/4 of a cup. But please, don't cut those strawberries! What a waste! Just pinch out the green tops & you'll get more strawberry for your money.

Clarence, any plain yogurt should work. You could also use nonfat if you'd like. Flavored yogurt sounds good too! Experimenting is fun, use whatever fits your personal taste.

Sounds good, but what kind of yogurt? There are at least 100 varieties in my grocery refrigerated section. All kinds and brands of flavored as well as un-flavored.
