Great video/recipe. I made this half vegitarian and half sausage, using all the veggies (spinach, asparagus, mushrooms, red bell pepper, and onion) on both halves, and 1/2 lb. crumbled breakfast sausage on just the one half. Cubed French bread filled that component with mild cheddar jack and mozzeralla cheeses filling that component. Next time I might use about 1/3 of the egg/milk/herb mixture right on top of the bread. Maybe it was because I had so many veggies, but the egg didn't saturate the bread as much as I would have liked. Also, I forgot the "drain the cooked veggies and meat" step, so it did end up being a little runnier than I had hopped for. But it got rave reviews anyway, and was loved by my mother at her special Mother's Day brunch.

video and recipe are great--however, I have several picky eaters--how could I leave out all the add-ons and let indiviuals add their own preference when serving??

breakfast casseroles are very simple and easy and the best thing about them is u can explore lots of different ingredients from fruits and cream cheese to meats potatos and herbs.enjoy everyone....

I have neve tried breakfast casserole, but after seeing the video I decided that I will try to make one but just with a variety of vegetables because i am a vegetarian. Thank you.
